HRP Honors 2025 Summertime Fellowship

HRP delights in to honor its 2025 summer fellowship to Madeleine Wonneberger JD’ 27
Summer season fellowships for civils rights teaching fellowships are a main component of the Harvard Legislation School human rights experience and give rich expert, personal, and intellectual possibilities. Many students and alumnae/i that are devoted to civils rights were introduced to the field via an internship. Interns help at least 8 weeks with nongovernmental or intergovernmental companies advancing human rights.
Madeleine Wonneberger will intern at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) in London, supporting the Business and Civils rights division’s work with company civils rights misuses, transitional justice, and multilateral AI policy. Her rate of interest in public worldwide legislation is notified by her study and work experiences across East Asia, including in Hong Kong, Suzhou, and Yunnan District. Before HLS, Madeleine interned at the National Committee on U.S.– China Relations in New York City City, where she supported the 2024 U.S.– China Track II Strategic Protection Dialogue, contributed to public education campaigns, and tracked legislative developments relating to greater China. She made her A.B. in Public Law Researches with a small in Eastern Asian Research Studies from the College of Chicago. Her honors thesis explored the influence of Hong Kong’s “One Nation, Two Equipments” administration design on worldwide money.
